Diver and Coach registrations are free of charge and include unlimited match-ups, also at no charge. You agree that your use of this website will not violate any local, national or international law.
All of the information you have provided DiversToCollege.com is completely accurate and truthful. You have not and will not access unrightful information (you have not and will not access other user’s passwords, usernames, etc.)
By registering as a Coach you must be a current college diving or swimming coach or a current high school diving coach. By registering as an athlete, you must in fact be an athlete who is looking to be recruited. By registering untruthfully as an athlete or coach you can and will be held liable for your actions and the consequences. This is considered unrightful access to information and DiversToCollege.com reserves the right to pursue legal action.
You will not access those files reserved solely for DiversToCollege.com administrators. You will not solicit other DiversToCollege. com users and/or members. Soliciting registered users of DiversToCollege.com, either coaches or athletes, is strictly prohibited. Legal action will be taken against any and all persons or companies soliciting registered users of DiversToCollege.com.
You will not use any of DiversToCollege.com material (logos, graphics, art works, text, articles, database, internet coding, etc) without written permission from DiversToCollege.com. Information provided on this site is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information or services obtained from DiversToCollege.com without the written permission of DiversToCollege.com management. Any profile downloaded by users that is not used must be deleted, destroyed or removed immediately. The holding of content not intended for use, or the distribution of such content, is a violation of this agreement and any user found doing so will have their registration terminated and be penalized to the full extent of the law.
DiversToCollege.com is not responsible for the actions of its users. All users are responsible for their own actions. DiversToCollege. com is not responsible for any users who violate diving governing body rules and regulations. Violators are subject to termination.
Members agree to only post accurate, truthful information in their DiversToCollege.com profile. DiversToCollege.com is not responsible for any misrepresentation by either an athlete, his or her family or a coach. If at any time you provide us with false or inaccurate information, including, without limitation, your identity, contact information, profile information or information concerning your intended or actual use of Content, you will be terminated and you will be penalized to the full extent of the law.
You acknowledge and agree that the usernames and password selected by and used by you in conjunction with your name are to be kept secret and confidential. You agree that you shall not disclose information to any other party without the express written permission of DiversToCollege.com. You acknowledge and agree that you will be responsible for each and every access or use of the Site that occurs in conjunction with your username and password, and that DiversToCollege.com is authorized to accept your username and password as conclusive evidence that you have accessed the Site.
You agree that you will not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or not permitted by these Terms of Use or outlined within the site. By way of example, but not limited to, you agree that when uploading to or communicating via the Site, you shall not do any of the following:
- Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy) of others.
- Publish, post, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, infringing, obscene, pornographic, sexual, indecent or unlawful material or information.
- Upload or otherwise transfer files that contain software or other material protected by intellectual property laws (or by rights of privacy or confidentiality) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents.
- Upload or otherwise transfer files that contain viruses, corrupted files or any other similar software or programs that may damage or inhibit the operation of another computer.

You represent and warrant that you are of sufficient legal age to use the Site and to create binding legal obligations for any liability you may incur as a result of the use of the Site. You agree to be responsible for all of your use of the Site (as well as for use of your username and password by others, including without limitation, minors living with you). By registering with DiversToCollege.com you agree to DiversToCollege.com Terms of Use. DiversToCollege.com has the right to terminate membership and usage of any users who have violated DiversToCollege.com Terms of Use.

Your privacy is important to DiversToCollege.com. We are committed to protecting the privacy of those who access our website including the products and services provided by us on the website. This policy clearly sets out how your personal information will be handled and used by us. This privacy policy applies to transactions and activities in which you engage (becoming a registered user), and data gathered, on our website - www.DiversToCollege.com (“website”).
You should review this privacy policy periodically in case it changes. You will be advised in writing where changes occur. This privacy policy was last revised on August 31, 2010. Each time you visit our website or provide us with information, by doing so you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy at that time.

The type of information we collect in supplying our services will depend on the type of product or service we provide you. The information we collect may include but is not limited to your personal, demographic or financial details. We may also collect details of any transaction you make on our website relating to any product or service we provide on our website.

You should be aware that we will display all information you consent to being publicly posted on our website. This includes information on your publically available diver or coach profile. This information will be become publically available to approved and registered divers and coaches with access to the internet. As a result this information can be accessed and used by others. For example, when completing your player profile your name, statistics etc. Your consent will be implied for any information you submit into your diver or coach profile to being publicly available. For this reason we request that you do not provide us any information into your profile that you do not wish to be shared publicly.
We will only collect and use your personal information if you have specifically consented to that collection, except in circumstances where it is necessary to conform with legal requirements, protect and defend our rights on property including intellectual property or to protect the interests of other users of the website.
Your personal information will be collected through the initial registration process. When collecting information from you we will take reasonable and practical steps to inform you of:
- Our identity;
- What information you provide us will be publicly displayed on our website ;
- How you can gain access to your personal information;
- To whom we will disclose information about you; and
- The main consequences (if any) for you if information is not provided.
3. How you can access and update your information
You can access and update or modify personal information or demographic information you have provided to us at anytime by logging into your diver or coach profile. You can withdraw your consent to publicly display any personal information about you by removing that information from your diver or coach profile. Coach registrations will be kept on file until a request for removal is received by DiversToCollege.com. Diver registrations will be retained until August 1st of the high school graduation year.
4. Use of personal information
We will use your email address and your other personal information to help us efficiently operate the website, to contact you in connection with your transactions and other activities on the website (including, but not limited to, verification emails or important news that could affect your relationship with us, and to forward messages to you from other DiversToCollege.com users. These types of communications may contain commercial messages. You will have the ability to opt out of receiving these if you choose. We will also use personal information to send you newsletters and other promotional materials for products and services. By posting a profile on the website, you are opting in to receive DiversToCollege.com information by email. You have the ability to opt out of receiving this.
Direct marketing
From time to time we may use your personal information to identify products and services which may be of interest to you to send you information regarding our products and services and those available through our business partners. If you do not wish to receive direct marketing information, please let us know. We will take immediate steps to ensure that you do not receive any direct marketing information in the future.

We wish to ensure your information that we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete and up to date. For this reason, from time to time we may contact you to check that our information is accurate.

Transborder data flow
Only the data within your diver profile online will be available to an approved and registered coach in a foreign country. By registering, you consent to the possibility of gaining exposure overseas.
Use of public information and other demographic information
We may review all demographic information. We may use public information to enable other users to find your profile, to determine whether a coach and an athlete may be a potential match for each other and to communicate with you. We may use demographic information to tailor the website and communications to your interests. We may also share demographic information with advertisers on an anonymous and aggregated basis (i.e., without telling the advertisers your identity). One of the reasons we may do this is to increase the likelihood that advertisers’ goods and services will appeal to DiversToCollege.com users, so that we may target specific ads at specific demographic groups. Our sharing of demographic information with advertisers is anonymous (i.e., we do not tell advertisers which particular DiversToCollege.com users are members of which demographic groups), subject to the rest of this privacy policy.

We will take all reasonable steps to keep all personal information you provide us secure apart from information that you consent to being publicly displayed on the website. The website has security measures (as described below) in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
